Start Up Problem!

Got a major problem everytime I log into Windows on a normal day I'd have just over 40+ processes yet as of late when I log in my CPU USAGE is Maxed out and my processes keep multiplying to over 300! Thus ruling my computer unuseable.

I can only end a few of these processes before it starts freezing.

I've used 3 antivirus softwares and spyware cleaner to scan my hard-drive (it's clean.) But 1 anti-virus software (dunno which one) indentified a whole bunch of programmes sending commands to eachother to activate when Windows next starts up. I spent a long time declining these actions to be sent via the software but the problem still happens.

I've also tried, reformating, scan disc and System Restore.

Can anyone help?

start, run, type msconfig, go to startup tab, click disabel all, and reboot. they only thing you need running is your antivirus or firewall

HI All, There are some programs that you can use like WinTask, Memory Defrag, Process Cleaner and there might be lots more but they are the only ones I can think of at this time.

Please let me know if u find anymore.
