sound card?

I have on board sound and I was wondering, If I get a sound card will it speed up my computer while gaming? Will it be a noticeable diffrence?

It will NOT speed up your computer, (or if any, hardly at all)

But ANY sound card is better than an on-board! Definitely will notcie dif in sound.

It will speed it up but you won't notice. Sound quality will be better; much better if you get a medium to high quality card.

no course it will not speed up your pc , Chuck some Processors and Ram in then you will be fine.. want more sound go for Creative
