I have just recently purchased a slide card, I have taken the front off my ps2 then put back the screw. I cannot get the draw to eject when using the tool that is provided, and now the cd tray will not eject, by the eject button. What have I done wrong?

First off, I am not sure why you took off the cover of your PS2.

When using the slide card, all you need to remove is the tray cover.

What probably happened is the ribbon cable from your eject button to the main board came loose. You can fix this simply by opening back up your PS2 and making sure both ends of the ribbon cable are placed tightly into their designated slots.

Also, did you purchase the Slide Card or the Swap Magic/Slide Card combo.
