Sim City 4

Can anybody tell how to play Sim City 4?
I have build a lot of living zones, several industrial zones, streets, electric station, water tubes, but nobody wants to enter.
It's 2003 (3 years passed), but population is still 0
who can explain this?

have you put a power supply in

what you need to do is first put a power plant in then add the zones then add water / police / fire / schools after that when the city starts building up

i unno from what i remember of the old cim city on super nintendo i alway had to open the city or somethign before people started coiming in i figured it would have been the same in this one. not sure tho.

its been a while but i think people enter their homes on their own, isnt opening the city up just for "neighbor" relations?

when you say noone wants to enter do you mean literally not a person or its just mostly abandoned areas?

Ye got to make sure yer city has water, power, and roads to da outside. Just drag yer roads (streets can't do this) to the edge of da map. Argh! Den make sure to power yer city. Zone housing first, and ye will soon have a great city.
