Router for Girlfriend's parents

Hey guys,

So my girlfriend's mom has an old wireless G router that they've had for 10 years now and it's starting to give out on them finally. They've asked me to look for a good router to replace it. It's been a while since I've done a lot of tech stuff so I came here looking for some advice.

They use their internet mostly for netflix and casual browsing, but they do play a lot of Wii Mario Kart online which is about the extent of their online gaming. Any suggestions for a fast wireless router for a decent price?

Asus routers tend to work really well, specifically their RT series routers. I've had those things cut through some interference quite nicely and some of the models have adjustable power settings. Ubiquiti I've been hearing a lot of good about and is probably what I'll move to next, myself, but I've also got quite a load on my home network.
