Is there a way to manually enter monitor info into the monitor settings area of the Raspberry Pi raspbian OS because it keeps telling me it can't find my monitor info... I have an old crappy tv.

Off subject but is there a raspberry pi column coming. Just for raspberry pi , or due to association with linux will it just be a thread?
