I have a fileserver running Ubuntu 6.06 with a basic LAMP setup. (No GUI)
It's got 2 HD's forming a single RAID0 volume. (20GB + 30GB)
Does anyone know if its possible to expand the RAID0 volume (by adding an additional HD) without losing any of the data on it?
Sure, I could find storage space on my other computers for that data while I reinstalled the server. But, I'd much rather find a way to add an additional HD and expand the volume without needing to start from scratch.
And I do not just want to mount the additional volume under its own folder on the existing volume.
Note: LVM is NOT setup on the volume. In retrospect, this would be much easier if I had done that in the first place. But that ship has sailed.
