Question about password in Windows 7

Hey guys,
My friend recently told me that he had an issue with windows 7. His daughter got on the computer and mistakingly changed the administrative password and he cant get access his documents. Is there any way that I can boot from like a cd or something and crack the password?

Thanks for the help but in order to do that i need to get access actual windows and go into command prompt.

Sadly there isnt anyway to confirm what is said so nothing we can really do to provide help.

You might find some information there. You have to understand our position. We could have anyone make such a remark and help them find a way to crack the password on someone elses PC. So we have to take the stand that we do and not offer such support.
