Question about iPod shuffle

Well I got an ipod shuffle for christmas so I could bring it to school easily and not have to bring my ipod touch, I just stared using it but I don't know how to use it that well. I put all my songs on it but how to I get it to plat certain songs first?

Hello,

You have to order the songs in the iTunes library in the order which you want them to play on your iPod Shuffle. Unfortunately, the nature of the iPod shuffle means that you can't choose a specific song to play on your iPod Shuffle - you can only move from one song to another in the order that's predifined in the iTunes Library.

Yeah, you can only go in order of a playlist, or randomize. I'd recommend taking along the Touch as well. They can both be used for different purposes.
