I'm after a program that can play a mix of video (avi or other format)
and graphical stills in a continual looping sequence, to be displayed
on a big plasma screen at an up and coming trade show. I'm interested in both commercial and any open source applications that may be able to do this. It'd be running on a Windows 2000 or XP environment.

Regards,
Belinda

Re:

Hello,

You could use a movie maker program like Windows Movie Maker. Simply import image or video files into the collections, then drag and drop them into the timeline. You can add effects, text and manage images and videos in Movie Maker.

Windows Movie Maker will create a new movie with the constructed timeline of media. The output file would be a Windows Media Video file, so you'd simply use Windows Media Player to play the compiled video, which means you can loop it by simply checking repeat.
