port forwarding

hey guys , iam trying to forward ports for battlefield2 based on this guid http://www.scan.co.uk/tekspek/printall.asp?a=21 but some of the port are ranges , now my router is a dlink 524 and the virtual server only have options for private and public ports...how can i open those ranges ..is there a software that i can use ..., in the guid he is using clarkconnect...any ideas...thanks

The Dlink model will not allow you to forward enough ports, to run Battlefield 2. You should try using the DMZ portion of this router if it is available.

So use the DMZ feature.

ya i read that on the same site but what DMZ snd by the way when i go to DMZ there is only and ip and an enable option..what should i do ....

Just put your computer IP there and enable it.

To find your computer IP, just open up command prompt (start>run>cmd)

type ipconfig
