Parental Controls

Hi,
I was wondering if there are any parental controls that just stop someone from going to a site and they do not keylog or record aim conversations. Also how much cpu usage do they take up?

For IE go under Tools>Internet Options. There you jsut add the site to the restriced list. Can't go there.

What browser is in use so i can give some better details.

my son uses seamonkey. I was wondering if there is a program that can block a category. I know there r programs that do it, but do they take up a lot of memory and or slow down your comp?

You will need to get a firewall. From there you will have to set it up to block certain key words. Each firewall is different and there for you would have to get supprot right from the software developer on how to do it specifically with that one.
