original PC Gears of War ??

I found this game after moving furniture around- never loaded!! Can it still be played on win7 64 bit without any trouble? Tried loading it and it failed to load properly - binary code problem. Of coarse the "Window Live" Hiccups could always be the culprit. But I know some older games cannot be played on Win7 - help appreciated.

Go to Xbox.com and see about downloading the XBOX Live update. I know that was always my issue when installing the game. I got it working on Win7 32 Bit with no issues. Never tried it on 64 Bit.

Got it working - the update loaded correctly on the third attempt. Yeah!! Actually pretty fun for stop gap until BC3 comes out. the poor accuracy of movement and inability to make any accurate throw with grenades actually makes it more challenging.
