For a week and a half now I've been googling and trying to figure this out. As an attempt to prevent myself from throwing this thing out the window, I'm resorting to the forums hoping there will be somebody here familiar with the older versions of OS 10... I'm using either 10.3 or 10.4, I believe it's 10.3 but I am not positive because the laptop is in another building.
I'm working with an HP Laserjet 1200 with a USB JetDirect connected. I have the IP of this printer and when I try to add it to the iBook, it seems to go through fine, yet ultimately fails to print.
I had 3 settings when setting up an IP printer, I forget what they were... IPP, HP, and a third one... I tried all 3.
How can I get this thing working?
The iBook is wireless to an Apple Airport, to where the printer is physically plugged into in the back.
