Not really.. I'd spend it on a PSU thats good... Honestly If that was my rig I'd be worried more about the PSU not being good, then having a crappy GPU, since you can always buy a GPU later on anyways, with a crappy PSU, it could take out your whole rig
 
Wow, you don't need a better psu.

My friend always laughed at tech forums on the psu advice, but now I'm laughing to. It's a cheap pc, he doesn't need anything "reliable" i mean most case psu last a good while, look at my rig, i have my case psu and it's fine.

I would say yes to the 8400 since it would help a bit and its really cheap.
 
Thermaltake make good PSUs, just get a cheap Rosewill thats all I'm saying by a reliable PSU

I don't trust "LinkWorld" because I've never heard of them... I don't think Ste or Sora (PSU Experts on this forum) would recommend them either
 
I've found an AOpen Case with PSU that is well in my price range. I see on that PSU thread that they are ok for cheap PCs.
