^ not so much. intel currently pwns (yes i said it) amd with thier i7's just amd is better for people on a budget. and nvidia is currently holding the number 1 spot in the gfx wars with the GTX 295 beating the 4870x2.

O ok ya im not biased whatever fits in the budget is great to me.

If you can get SB750 board, most Callisto's have the ability to unlock into full-fledged Quad's.

I'd say in price to performance AMD on both side owns the crown.

Performance wise goes to Intel/nVIdia though.
