MP3 player output

I would like to amplify the output of my mp3 player, i have the most gorgeous hi-fi (Sony nas-cz1) which can go loud as hell, but when i run music off of my mp3 player via the analogue port it's very quiet. My mp3 player is a sony network walkman nw-hd3.

Much obliged if you could help, i wanna krank up those tunes .

Did you turn up the volume on the device as well as on the hi-fi?

not sure what an anologue port is but if it connects thru the headphone port then try getting an amplifier http://www.radioshack.com/product.a..._name=CTLG_007_003_001_000&product_id=33-1109
thats a very miniscule one but one like that would help
