I don't really think it will beat the ipod though and frankly I think it looks kind of ugly.

I wouldn't call it "ugly," but Msft certainly has a lot of work to do if they want it to look as nice as an iPod. It just looks too plain.

I agree that it looks way too bland. Unless they have a sweet UI on it, i probably won't even consider buying it.
