Messenger Plus 3.50

I am well aware that Messenger Plus 3.5 is bundled and crammed full of unwanted programs, but i have seen that this program is quite useful. I want to have proper precausions and protection before i acually install this, and any ways to avoid installing the spywear. I've had a look at their FAQ but it doesen't really help (www.msgplus.com).
I currently have:

Ad-Aware 6.XX (newest) Professional
Registry Mechanic Pro
Norton Anti-Virus
Router Firmware (If that effects it)

These are the programs i already have installed, currently my system is squeeky clean, other than setting a restore point before installation, i need ideas and help from experience before i install.

If I remember correctly, during the setup there is a box with checkmarks that is easily overlooked. It asks you to allow sponsor program.

On their download webpage there is a page with info on uninstalling the package if it was installed inadvertently.
