I have both and this is what I have so far....2k5 has some nice looking graphics, it looks kinda like madden bearly improved their's if any, but I have been playing madden for so long its in my blood so i could bearly het use to 2k5's playing style, I like the feel of madden realy make's you feel like you got control over all your guys, in 2k5 I didnt realy have that feeling, so if you have been playing madden for more than 3 years stick to that, if you want somthing new and dosnt cost that much money go with 2k5
