The war that has been raging between users and Microsoft for @live.com e-mail addresses appears to be far from finished: yet another trick appeared today letting users register the long-awaited addresses. This is nothing more than another unofficial way to register such accounts, so hurry up before Microsoft blocks the hole again!
Doing this is pretty easy, assuming you are using Mozilla Firefox. First, head to Windows Live Custom Domains, and select Get Started, then "Use a domain I already own". Type anything you want in the field that appears, and select "Create a new Windows Live ID in your domain". Then, when the signup page finally loads, hit View in your browser's options, go to Page Style, and select "No style". The normal @live.com field will appear, and you can now create your new Windows Live ID!
