Um if I were to install this on my new build, could I get away with letting my friend install it too? Probably illegally, but even then would it work? and if it didnt work, what would be the worst possible thing to happen (besides the feds showing up at my door LOL)

Would it just say another machine installed or what would happen?

No, you can't install it on two separate computers. The only way it would work is if your friend has his own OEM serial.

It is illegal to have your friend install it. We will not answer if it would still work cause that vioplates our rules which you should know by now.

1 OS = 1 Machine. End of story.

I didnt say I was doing it, I just asked if it would work. I know its illegal but I was just wondering. We both bought separate ones anyhow, but we were wondering in case we wanted to install them on different machines in our own house, which is still probably illegal. Thanks anyhow

As i already said. 1 Serial = 1 Install = 1 Machine.

Doesnt matter if it is your house, your friends house, Bill Gates house. It is still illegal.
