Is the Netgear FA411 Mobile Adapter Card a wireless device?

I ask because it has a connection port for an Ethernet cable in it, and I cannot get a wireless signal from my Netgear G Router model no. WGR614v9

Did I post this in the wrong forum or something? 13 views and no reply of any kind? I know I'm new but I read the welcome thread. Did I do something wrong?
