iPod Touch 4th Gen won't remember network

Our Wifi was acting up at work the other day so I "forgot" the network hoping that it would resolve the issue. Ever since then I've had to enter the Wifi password every time I connect to the network. I backed up / restored my device and that still did not help. Is there an option somewhere to remember a network after it has been forgotten?

I backed up / restored my device and that still did not help. Is there an option somewhere to remember a network after it has been forgotten?

The device should remember the network even I you had forced it to forget once before. That said; I don't think the iPod is at fault here. Are there any other wireless devices that suffer the same problem?
