Okay. Today I heard about a program known as GSpot. No, it's not a subscription to a porn site, unfortunately, but it has a good use. I was told I can browse a particular video file and the program will make sure I have all of the necessary codecs to run it.

I ran GSpot with my problematic video. It came back as saying I am missing 1 codec. AC3 Filter. I could have sworn I downloaded it.

Okay fine. I download it. Same error...

Free-Codecs.com :: Download AC3 Filter 1.46 : AC3 Filter is a DirectShow filter for AC3 decoding

That's the site I got it from. I've tried 1.11 and 1.46. Nothing works. Even with the **** thing installed, GSpot is telling me it's missing, which may be why I'm getting the neon coloring.

Note - Just tested in VLC. Works perfect.
