you'll have that, a quick visit to Fedora's website will tell alot, Mr Tyler is young and tries to be helpful but Im afraid his experience is lacking
what makes a good rookie linux distro:
good support
has most of the software you will want to use
easy to set up
good website, with all packages available for download and directions for setting up the OS
having stated that, it wipes out many of them including Suse and Fedora--Both of which dont come with much and you will spend some time installing things they should already have by default
