how to enable ports on my 2003 server

I want to open the ports for emule but i think i have to enable them on the 2003 windows server but I dont have any idea how to do it. I dont want to start messing about just in case I bring the whole network down. When I start emule the port test fails and it just doesnt connect to any other servers

You shouldn't have to enable the ports on your Server 2003 Machine unless you are running a proxy server from it such as "RIAS Server 2005" it is more than likely that your router has blocked it as opposed to your server pc!
