How To Convert WMV to MPEG

Hey, Everyone!

I would like to know, if anyone knows how to convert an WMV file to and MPEG file?
Is there some program that can do it?
I do have a WMV to DivX, but that is no good.
So any help with be very much thanked!!

Say... more questions concerning WMV files and compared to other media files.

NOTE: my source audio file format is .wmv

1) I was told a hour long .wmv file is about 100 meg (audio / video)

2) can I convert a .wmv file to another format that is smaller file size, yet maintain quality

My main objective is to take the source wmv files and make them smaller so they take up less space on the server AND still be able to watch the audio/video

i looked at converting wmv to flash.... at 750kb file went to 520kb ??
not much

Hi there! I advice you to make use of vidFlash's video convertion service. Just register and send them your video and after 15-20 min you will get converted one.

for me WinAVI does the Job perfectly for me converted an MPEG to a DVD Format movie in under 5 min pretty good really search it on google its a trialware so probz about 10 days before u have to activate
