I disagree, having A+ is a nice thing for a entry level person .. i mean that is what a tier 3 tech is.
A+ and Network + tell a employer that you understand the very basics of hardware and network.
A CCNA will show you that you understand a little more.
A CCNP will show that you have a basic understanding about networks / cisco products and how they should be configured in a network.
No cert is going to get you a job .. but will show that you have the drive to show what you know.
