Greetings All, I am new to your forum and hope this is the correct place to post this request - if not please let me know.

A user just returned from Latin America and now has the file msnmsgr_plus.exe plus an autorun.ini file on the root of all their USB devices. I have checked the internet and found several posts related to this but most are in Spanish.

Any information and assistance would be appreciated!!

Thanks for the quick response!

No, no problem - just wants to autorun and I don't like files that I cant contro!. Makes three registry entries and I can't seem to get rid of it.

Suggestions?

open messenger and go to options/general and uncheck load on windows start up. If you don't have windows live then first remove the old windows messenger, this script works good. Remove Windows Messenger then reinstall windows live messenger if you want it and shut off the start on windows start up.
