To start off with please dont lock this thread because A) this isnt a repeat post because the others have gone B) im not advertising otherwise i would post a link and C) i didnt get any answers in GBP on the other post.


Right anyway im selling my old pc its an:

Athlon XP 2500 1.8Ghz , ATI Sapphire 9600XT,1GB DDR PC2700 Ram, Asus Motherbord, Soundblaster live 24 bit. 25GB Hard Disk.

Alll enclosed in a case with a 12 CM Exhaust fan and all working.

It comes with 3 used games > Battlefield 2 , Unreal Tournament 2007, Sniper Elite.

Does anyone have any ideas on how much to sell this for on ebay.co.uk ? i need to know so i can decide on the pc im getting.

£180 lol 25GB Hard Disk wouldnt be able to fit that much games on... 9600XT is old

180 quid did u say. You guys sure d omake me happy. Yeh i laugh at my hard disk daily and the 9600XT is the best card i will ever have somehow it makes its self faster ... slowly but surely. I can Play CoD2 at 1360x7 sumthing in Dx7 at MAX settings with 40fps average. wen i first bought it it only got 25fps at 1280x768.

ok £200 - £230 thats really enough.... i played Cod 2 at DX7 max setting 1280x1024 and got 38FPS + not much difference... plus 1.8GHz is nothing for games these days thats best for UT2K4 Engines lol

Waaaa 200 Quid that makes things so much better ! considering i thought i would get 30 quid. The oppertuinities for my pc now are much higher. Thanks NvidiaDude youve been a big help over the last few weeks.

I still swear to **** my GPU is getting Faster. a 25GB Hard disk can be upgraded for 30 quid easily.


UT2004 was such a good game.

Now you can help me choose what to get now.


Ive got 180 quid in wallet, 180 quid from another ebay auction(hopefully) , and SUPOSEDLY around 190 quid from my old PC. 550 Quid is my budget.

I was thinking a C2D processor. a Ati 19** series, PC 5300 Ram ?
PSU for 40-50 quid ?

tell you what stick it on ebay for £230 i bet it would get a bidder, most people are going for pc's with a Good reasonable graphics card for multimedia applications etc for students or people at college it should deffo sell over £210

Im very surprised. O yes nvidia dude your sig ses wii expert. Could you tell me if the GPU has 3000Mhz of memory on it ?.
