Help me pick a "sick" gaming headset

I have a few questions

When picking a headset is it better to get a USB input or one with a microphone input? I only ask because i dropped 100 bucks on a SB Z audigy sound card a year back and i wanna know if i will get better sound if i plug into the sound card itself.

Can anyone recommend a good gaming headset with with the following features

-Microphone
-surround sound
- Good bass
- Rumble feature
- 5:1 Sound
-comfortable ear pads
-reasonably durable

Maybe around 150-200 bucks if possible..
