Help! Interesting Scenario (Wifi Problem)

Okay guys i have an interesting scenario , maybe some one can help me out. I have a job sitting at a counter and i get bored so i have my lap top with me but the problem is that my house near by can almost get the wireless here but not enough so i need a way to boost the signal. So far these are the ideas i found but i need more info on them and thats where i was hoping someone could help me

-External Laptop antennas?? i have no idea about these whatsover. any ideas?

-I found an interesting product, any ideas about this? Wifi-X-Tender it looks pretty good, i read some reviews on it from dslreports and it seems to be the real deal.

-Any other ideas?

uh wow lolll this looks pretty complex.. where can i find all these things? and did you take a look at the wifi xtender? i think it looks a lot more practical

I didn't watch the video. I assumed it was a software based solution and that made me think gimmick. If you'll do a google search for wifi signal booster or extender you'll find alot of home-made solutions

i dunno if its a gimmick , its not software, its a physical thing, go check it out, i also saw reviews for it and it looks very legit
