GTA San Andreas Problem

Hi,
i got GTA San Andreas for the PC, it worked fine but, without realising i had the 2nd edition, i installed a few mods but of cause they dont work with 2nd edition so i uninstalled GTA and reinstalled it again. But, now it doesnt work!!!!

Please help, if you have any ideas then post

Make sure everything is deleted. Go through your C:/Program Files to make sure there's no traces of it, and make sure the registry keys are gone. Then try reinstalling again.
