i spelled dieing wrong... anyway by dieing, i meant that i've read some reviews about the 5.1 thx promedia just breaking down after about a year.. like from newegg's user comments.. also some have complained about the lack of a heatsink and the back plate getting so toasty it damages internal components. that is true about the 2.1s as well... the back plate get VERY hot after long use, or even if i just leave them on overnight because im too lazy to reach under my desk to turn it off. dunno if it actually damages internal components but that is what i read..
