im trying to find info on the best solution to pick up a wireless signal. if i buy a repeater, how exactly does it connect to the AP that is transmitting the initial signal. does it just detect the radio waves and resend them? is it possible to just buy one, plug it in and it will extend the wireless signal thats passing by? my problem is, i can pick up the wireless signal weakly in one spot but i want it everywhere in my house. i cant move the AP so i need to extend the range. is this the best solution for me?
