I am looking to get an ethernet card and I was wondering what kind to get. I don't know if I should get a pci or pci-e x1 card or if I should get 10/100 or 10/100/1000. What would be the best to get? Something not that expensive.

I don't think there is a noticeable difference in performance between the PCI and PCI-e x1 cards.

You should get one, that is compatible with your wireless router. What is your wireless router?

BTW it's not a wireless ethernet card I'm getting it's a regular ethernet card for my wired computer. But I do have a router which is linksys.

Well, depending on your application for it.... if your ROUTER does 10/100/1000, then I would suggest that (price difference is minimal anyways.....). If you are going to be moving alot of files on the INTERNAL LAN (between your computers, or computer & server if you have one), then go with the 10/100/1000. If this is JUST for internet, 10/100 will be sufficient.
