Document Editor

I am wondering if it's possible to create a document in like a PDF format that will allow another user to edit the document without any special software.

What I'm looking to do is have a professional looking document with some fill in the blanks and y/n questions to be filled it by another user without having to print it out, fill out, and scan to send back. Very basic functionality and able to be emailed.

Does anyone know how this can be done? Or if it can?

Adobe Reader (and I believe Foxit Reader) can fill in forms on PDF's.

You'll have to create the PDF with forms (requires Adobe Acrobat Pro or Foxit Editor, or some other PDF creation software that supports forms). Then, you can send that to the user, and they can fill it out / email it back.
