Distance between Subwoofer and PC Tower?

What is considered to be the minimum safe distance between your speaker system's subwoofer and your computer tower?


My system is the Logitech Z-640 5.1. Thanks.

...yep if it's a good subwoofer that has adequate magnetic shielding, then you can place it anywhere.

Most cheap subwoofers don't have good shielding, and in these instances, you should place the subwoofer at about 1 metre away from the PC.

Your's has adequate magnetic shielding so you don't need to worry about where you place.

I would say 1-2 feet away, but that depends on the size of the subwoofer's magnet.

It all depends on the brand of subwoofer. Mine isnt magnetically shielded, but its still about 2 feet away from my PC, next to my printer.


Most subwoofers are magnetically shilded, so they can go anywhere...
