Ok, i have another post here about building a rig, but I decided to keep my current rig as my "daily" and build just 1 rig as my "workstation"...My wife and I do numerous things...digital art, video, photoraphy etc. And I'm looking to build a nice setup...my budget is probably around 2k at this time...
I'd like dual monitors (doesnt have to be, but it would be much nicer) I'm new at the dual display thing so any ideas or tips about setting up a system to run dual display would be great...
I have a wishlist on newegg that can be seen here: http://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion...5& WishListTitle=Ryans+Christmas+WishList+05'
it's a starting point...I will be adding/removing/adjusting things...I am however looking to build the rig within the next few weeks (or atleast order the parts)
my biggest concerns are as follows:
1. how do i configure and setup for dual display
2. what (brand/model)media drives (i DO want seperate CD-ROM and DVD/CD-RW drives) like i said, we are doing digital video now, and we'll need a great set of drives to produce te discs...
3. should i go dual-core? or...?
Thanks in advance! I'll be posting updated parts lists probably later tonight.
