dawn of war 2 glitch?

i just beat the mission where you need to close the gates to the angle forge place or what ever its called. and when i went to go upgrade my guys i noticed my assault squad is missing. is this a glitch? and if it is does anyone know of a way to get them back?
-i've tried restarting game
-restarted computed.
