I've wanted one of these for a while as I've a pain in me hoop plugging and unplugging wires from me PS3/laptop/PC to me monitor/tv. They seem to have come down in price recently (last year not one was < 100).

Does anyone know if the cheap ones should be avoided? Any reason why some are €50 and others €300. Surely they do the same job.
