Battle with infection, need help as it might still be on PC

Right so I've been helping out a friend, they had a fake adobe update, got stuck with security tool, one of those fake antivirus programs which keeps popping up with warnings, asking you to pay, wont let you open programs bar IE.

I tried Mbam and superantispyware in safe mode, they found and removed files, but every restart it was back. So I did a system restore to a week back, it seems ok BUT the machine is unusually sluggish and I am concerned about something in system32 called AVGIDSEH, it seems to have negative connotations when I google it.

Go to Spyware Asylum, select you OS and run the Full Scan. Post back results for each scan ran. Reading the "AVGIDSEH.sys" online doesn't have good results but to make sure we're on the right path I suggest following the guide on the site.
