Audio problem Win 7 32bit

Hi

I am having a lot of problems with the sound recording from my webcam and using skype , it seems to be a windows problem ! , when I go to manage sound devices I get the screen shot as per below but every time I unmute and slide the sound along it just goes back to mute and the slider goes to 0 .

Have you downloaded and installed the drivers and software for this webcam? Even though Windows 7 is pretty good about using generic drivers, I would encourage the installation of the drivers from the manufacturer of the web site at the very least.
