Why don't you try a copy off Ubuntu Dapper Beta 2? It is not the same as debian. It IS based on it, but it has a more organized development team and has a lot of nice features.

Tried it. Didn't like it on x86, and since my computer likes to be difficult with everything, I doubt I'll like it much on PPC.

If I get desperate again, however, I may try it again.

Ah! Got it!

For whatever reason, "Mouse Keys" was enabled in KDE. I had to just randomly push keys on the keypad, and it went off
