Almost 2015, Cryengine 2 is still King!

Almost 2015, and the 2007 (2008 updated) Cryengine 2 is still the master of disaster. As devs are already starting to hit a performance wall on consoles, it might be ps5 before anything can top Cryengine 2 which is sad (and also really impressive for Crytek).

Was Cryengine 3 not an improvement?

Imo, no.

In this one video, it appears close, but it is noticeably worse in everything else I've looked at:

Like I said, that is the absolute best I could find. For the most part, the vegetation in Cryengine 3 is noticeably worse wherever you look.
