AGP or PCI-E

Definately go with AGP if thats what n your mobo but if your building a new computer go with PCI-E and if you get a AGP card and dont have a $$$$ limit go with the 7800GS.

and Ulti_DOOM just to clear something up, say PCI-E for PCI Express cause PCI-X is a real interface but mostly used in servers.

If you get any choice in it at all, make sure you go the PCIe route. They are PHASING OUT AGP because it is old news. PCIe offers more bandwidth and is the NEW STANDARD. The only reason they still make AGP video cards is to cater to those who have AGP slots in their motherboard. PCIe would be the ONLY logical decision if you're building a new computer.

Thanks guys for your help. I was lookin online all week for graphics cards and i seen most of them where PCI-E. I have a ATI 9800 pro...my friend had it layin around so i took it from him. I just now started learning about computers and i have a lot more to learn. You guys are a BIG help!
