acer erecovery

hi guys,the other day my acer 5735 started playing up,i was wondering,if i format the hard drive and install a new os i.e a rc of windows 7, will i be able to reinstall vista home premium(which i have a disk image of) using acer e recovery?

If you have a disk image you have to use the program from which the disk imaeg was made with.

Meaning if the image was create by Acer and it is the Recovery Image and not a Disk image made with Acronis, FOG or CloneZilla then yes you will be just fine.
