I am looking to buy a sound card. Right now I am using integrated Realtek AC97 Audio and I heard that if I switch from integrated to a seperate card I can get a CPU performance boost of up to 15%....

I can deguass the one connected to the AGP card (it's a lot newer) but the other one... well it's too old ot do that. It's so old in fact it's running at 43 Hertz. Anything higher and the picture...

I don't use a proxy and the connections settings are "directly connect to internet" that's how they've always been. I've tried everything I can think of, is there anything I could've missed?

sound card IDE interface questions

I have an old P1 100Mhz that I've been upgrading just for fun lately. So far I have added two CD ROM drives and an extra HDD. I have 1 more HDD I want to put in there but there is no place to put it....
