Alright I will always remember that. And I did try it the other way, and it made it like 1 degree cooler. And the weird thing is that my temp is better without the fan at all! I idle at 43 C usually....

It seems as if the hard drive you want to install vista on isent Vista compatible. Thats the only thing I can possible think of. Maybe you could try installing Windows XP?

I personaly would go with the 1x DDR2 PC5300 1 gig RAM. It provides more room for RAM, and the faster speeds will possible help, depending on your other specs, and I think 1 GIG is plenty for most...
